Oh hey there! I’m Jillian, and welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m a lifestyle and family photographer based in Calgary, Alberta, and I can’t wait to get to know you!

Photography has been my lifelong passion, a journey that has taken me through various genres before finding my true calling in boudoir photography. It’s a space where I discovered the art of empowerment, and self-expression.

I approach each boudoir session with a commitment to creating a safe, comfortable, and empowering environment. My goal is to go beyond capturing mere images; I want to unearth the sensuality and confidence that lies within each individual. Through a blend of technical expertise and a keen eye for detail, I strive to craft images that resonate with the unique beauty of my clients.

Every person has a story, a collection of moments that define them. I’m here to help you tell that through the lens of boudoir photography. Born and raised in British Columbia, my family and I took the leap to move to Alberta for a beautiful change. When I’m not behind the camera, I can be found drinking coffee, hanging out with my awesome husband, our two young boys, and our fur babies (Moose and Ollie, our French/English Bulldogs, and Matilda, our ain’t-no-wallflower cat)… oh, and drinking more coffee.

I’m obsessed with creating candid, unique photos of my clients, representing life’s most beautiful moments and providing you with stunning snapshots of your favourite memories. I’m all about capturing the double-chin-belly-laugh kind of moments that are both raw and perfect.

I believe photos should not only help you remember moments, both big and small, but help elicit those same warm feelings too. Remembering the elated nerves right before you say “I do”, to the sweet, incomparable smell of your newborn while their tiny feet fit into the palm of your hand, or the beautiful chaos of your children’s laughter as they chase each other through the field, I believe your photos should evoke emotion. From life-changing milestone events to everyday moments you want to cherish forever, I love capturing your story.

As a professional photographer since 2013, I quickly learned that along with capturing families and couples at every stage of your lives, my greatest passion is using my camera to empower women and make you feel beautiful and sexy. My absolute favourite type of shoot is boudoir, where women take off (literally) all of the daily armour, to expose their stunning, strong and feminine selves.

Born and raised in Langley, I’m a true lover of our province’s surreal beauty (that conveniently creates the most incredible backdrops for your photos).
